VT Group is engaged in a multitude of facility, infrastructure and range management and planning activities for the U.S. armed forces and other agencies, ensuring the functionality, readiness and cost-effective operation and maintenance of all fixed and temporary facilities.

 

We are the prime service provider of range operations and maintenance (O&M) support at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility, Va., providing project management for launchpads, facilities and supporting infrastructure, power generation, engineering and telecommunication support services and vegetation control services.  At the U.S. Coast Guard base in Kodiak, AK, we provided similar services for airspace management and ground systems and facilities support.

We manage and plan utility infrastructure requirements for fixed and mobile facilities with an emphasis on limiting requirements for scarce or unique resources.  We can operate the entire utilities infrastructure, including:

  • Electricity, Electric Generation and Distribution

  • Natural Gas

  • Water and Water Distribution

  • Sewage and Water Treatment Systems

  • Solid Waste

  • Pumping Systems

  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems

Managing NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Wallops Flight Facility, Va.

VT Group provides range support services for the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Wallops Flight Facility (WFF), Va.  During certain stages of missile preparations, launches and other special research projects, our staff are stationed at designated locations throughout WFF to make emergency adjustments and repairs to run generators, operate equipment and switch equipment if it malfunctions.

 

To support the launch range and aerospace research facilities, VT Group provides architectural and engineering (A-E); design reviews and construction follow-on; telecommunications and engineering services, performing:
