VT Group names Daniel Bertram President of Unmanned Systems Line of Business

GAITHERSBURG, Md. - VT Group is pleased to announce that Daniel Bertram has joined the organization as president of the Unmanned Systems line of  business and member of the Senior Leadership Team. In this role, he will have responsibility for the vertical and horizontal expansion of VT Group's Unmanned Systems services offering worldwide.  

Bertram joins VT Group with more than 25 years experience, including 14 years of successful executive leadership in aviation, unmanned vehicles and defense systems as a supplier/partner to domestic prime contractors such as Boeing, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin as well as international organizations.

VT Group's Unmanned Systems line of business offers a pioneering and proven performance record for skilled service in multiple unmanned aerial platforms, delivering mission-specific applications and a full suite of services to the U.S. military, federal agencies and a variety of commercial industries. In addition to providing field service representative to its customers globally, this line of business owns and operates unmanned systems on a fee-per-service basis.

Most recently, Bertram was president/CEO of Coda Octopus Americas based in Salt Lake City, and previously president/CEO of  Data Metrics Corporation in Orlando, Fla., both tier two defense contractors.

Bertram holds a bachelor's degree from Marquette University and a master's degree from Pepperdine University.
